one thing you need to watch out for is getting scammed....
egold = no chargebacks

paypal = possible chargebacks

so if your giving someone egold for paypal your risk is much higher than if it was the other way around

 

Also you need to keep in mind that paypal doesn't allow currency exchanges so if they find out you might get in trouble.

I would be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS with this. The net is full of people with highjacked paypal accounts due to phishing, or otherwise using pirated credit card numbers. If they send you paypal and you send them e-gold, there's a good chance that you'll find your paypal shut down and you can't charge-back via e-gold so you'll just be scammed.

If you're just looking to cash out/liquidate your e-gold, there are much better ways to do it.

paypal policy also doesn't support exchanging some currency to other e-currency. Moreover, paypal dispute policy is really awful. Thats why most of the exchangers don't support exchanging from e-gold to paypal.

It is by no ways immeadiate and can be harder than exchanging with someone but I would withdraw PayPal into bank account and wire the money to OmniPay.com they'll sell you egold and they're a large, reputable website not an individual or site which may or may not scam you.
