Hi: I have lost my e-gold password. I go to "forgot password" section, after completing all required options, i have seen a message, that your password will be post to your home address... It is 2 months now, but i didn't received any password. I have contacted them again, they said, password is on the way.... and there is not other method to retrieve password... What the hell is e-gold????????
Are you sure password recovery sent by mail.? I think they use phone.. Call them using phone number list on your account..
I am reading so many stories about them,also they are closing lot of account.Do u have any balance in ur egold account?
I also lost my password a while ago. However, I simply went to the "contact us" section and requested a temporary passphrase that was e-mailed to my account. There's no reason to believe you account was deleated; but contact them via the procedure provided here on: How to Recover an e-Gold Passphrase. Take care and good luck restoring your account.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say... eGold has had many complaints lately but possibly this is just a fraud crackdown. In any case, it's a useful service for those looking to avoid chargebacks and can be a good way of getting paid by PTC (Paid to Click) Sites. As for the OP - I looked at the eGold instructions again and didn't find anything about them sending your password to your home address. Checkout the instructions I sent and you'll be golden.
hi, well please be aware that e-gold staff can help you this, before i when i was using my e-gold account and there was a time that i lost my password since i have so many password to memorize and that one was forgotten, just call them, remember all of your personal information that you put there on your e-gold account when you signing up. they will ask your for your name address birthdate and telephone number, they will call you back after a seconds and verify it to your account if its all match and then they will give you a new password. just call them for the fast recovery.
Burhankhan, I too am sailing in the same boat like you. I other words, I too have lost my egold password and when I contacted them they told me via email that since they were trying to contact me by my landline and since they could not contact me since it was just ringing, they now have decided to send the password details at my mailing address and that I should receive it within 15 days. More than a month has passed now nothing has happened. After reading your thread I have come to a realization that egold have no intentions of sending the password. This is not fair at all. Can someone unite and do something about this?
This happened to me once too and they sent the pw by snail-mail. I didn´t even think of it after some time and then there was a letter in my mail with the pw. So I think probably you will recieve it "anytime" but noone knows when. But keep on hoping
