E-gold, is this seriuos?

I recently heard about e-gold and registered an acccount. I cannot use paypal in my country yet so I think it woulb be good. I searched around for a review but I didn't find. Is this seriuos? Can I deposit or withdraw from my real Cash?

Really? That's good, but I still don't know how to deposit from Cash from my Country!

 

Its serious but all I have read is complaints about the service.

What are you looking to use the service for? An e-commerce store?

Personally, if I was going to purchase somethiing online, I wouldn't if that was the payment method.

The fee maybe a bit high
Another method is to find e-gold users of same countries as you to trade
you pay him cash, he send you e-gold

Anyway, I still think the idea of virtual-cash is quite funny. Maybe I have'nt get used to it.

 

E-gold is good e-currency but most people that can have PayPal did not hear about E-gold. So it is not usefull if you want to trade with other people from USA or Europe.

 

I am now has $45 in my e-gold account . I may use it to buy domain name or hosting,...

 

I have used egold for about 6 years now and here's some pros and cons:

pro: established company, wide use and acceptance, reliable, trustable.

cons: you cannot withdraw money straight from them, you have to go through a broker. No fraud protection, if you get scammed consider the money gone.

Pro and con: your money is based on the value of gold so your account $ balance will fluctuate.

I never withdraw egold funds(I still get about $50.00 come into my account each month from...well...stuff) but I do spend them online at gold-stores .net and have been doing so for several years.

 

I am surprised that you say that...In my experience few people will accept it (almost always asking for Paypal instead)

Maybe that refers to business in certain countries where Paypal is not valid?

 

Egold is nowhere near as accepted as paypal, especially by the business community. I see egold more as a fun internet currency as opposed to paypal which is as good as cash.

Egold is a good option for those that cannot use paypal.

 

Egold can use by anyone in the world.. that paypal cant.
