E-gold is SCAM!!!

Hi everybody, my name is Arie, I'm newbie but I'm a real person, just like you and I had a terrible story with e-gold!

Everybody knows Gptreasure.com well not everybody but a lot of people.

Well, I'm sorry to tell you but the official e-gold account for gptreasure 3105447 is no longer active effective from today!

I had about $5,500 USD in the e-gold account and they blocked it without any intention to do anything about it.

I called them, nobody answered, only after million of times finally someone answered and she said I have to email their abuse dept - click on "Contact Us" and then send them a message.

You don't need to use the contact form, you can simply use this email address to contact them.

They don't reply, only if they like to, but here's their reply:

Your account has been permanently blocked under our Right of Association clause in the account user agreement. Quoting from the e-gold Account User

I'm just warning you people, do not use e-gold, they can block your account and take all your money away. I think I'm among the first victims who lost such a big amount of money - $5,500!

This money is gone and e-gold took it away, I don't see what else I can do about it.

Beware of them! They are turning to be super-scammers!!!!

 

Did they gave you a way to WITHDRAW your money ?!check or...something ?

I don't use them but they should give you your money back... Take legal action against them if they don't.

Okay, legal action against who? a website? Where they're really located? I read in another website their address in Florida is a fake!

I don't know what else I can do about it, all I have from them is email and a phone number...

 

What the hell with those payment processors ;/ I began to heard scam reports about PayPal everyday now, plus some about E-gold as for you and few other of my friends..

I don't know if you can feel it but I can feel it - it's a lot of money and they took it away from me! I just want to publish my story now anywhere on the Internet so people could stay away from them!!

 

Phone numbers are trackable...call a lawyer and see what your options are. Most offer free consultation...use it


also file a complaint at the online BBB.

 

How can they block ur account without any reason?

I myself is using egold from last 2 year and never faced a problem.

Wow, I never really read the privacy statements and terms of use when I sign up for websites. I think I should do that more often.. I do not currently use E-Gold, but I have used it in the past with no problems, but that was because I haven't made much money when I was using that payment processing website. I'll be aware and let people know about your problem with them if it ever comes up. Thanks for warning me.

 

I've used them for more than 1 and half years so I understand your point of view and I do ask myself the same question you're asking!

How could they do it? I don't know, but that's the fact!
