it is a phishing email
EG will never send email contain link

 

Check the email headers.

 

recently received many phishing email not only from EG but from PP

 

doesn't look like physhing and there's no link in it

 

Maybe someone's just running accounts through a script with generic passwords to see if anyone has sci enabled.

 

maybe your EG account is targeted hack

 

I have receieved some sort of mail before and you must not clicked those links. Anyway you try to checked your e-gold account and if its working fine then there is no need to worry.

 

Is there a link in the email telling you to access your account? If there is it's a phishing email. If it's legit you can strengthen your password both for the e-gold and the email wher you send the PIN.

 

Could be a phishing email. Never sign in using the link provided.
