E-gold Account Blocked

Has anyone had their E-gold account blocked?

At first, my account was limited and I was instructed to upload a photo ID such as a drivers license and proof of residence. I did this three times, each time they said it was illegible or invalid. Once I contacted them via their Contact page, they said to re-upload them again and it would be fine. Before I could even do this, they put a block on my account and it says "refuse service". Now they said I have to submit proof of a valid business or they'll keep the account blocked.

I wouldn't care as much if I didn't have anything in there, but I have $1,800+... Most of this is from domain sales and advertisements sold on various sites.

I'm waiting for them to send me the information I need to submit to them, and hopefully that will get my account unblocked in a timely manner.

I'm going to get a lawyer to fight it if they don't unblock it after I submit the requested documents.

    What was yours blocked for?

MakeThatDollar, I would give you an advice to hold your anger and stay ethical with them.

One of my friends was locked for no reason and he had way more than that, he went really mad, started threatening and stuff and bye bye, he got nothing.

So stay ethical, send them MANY e-mail's to clarify, if something's not clear, get the situation, tell them that you will not leave this like that, cause you earned the money, etc.

And everything will be fine ! Just follow the procedure.

I agree with FriendlyBear, anger leads to "totally nothing"

By the way try to ask them a more detailed procedure on how you can un-blocked your account. And also please review their TOS carefully and if you are not violating any of their TOS then surely you will be fine.

Same problem here, hate e-gold :(!

You can still buy with blocked account if the seller has accepted payments from people with blocked accounts!
