    Hi

Can anyone tell me please what the best and most user friendly e-commerce option is for WordPress. Hostgator support http://www.cubecart.com/ http://oscommerce.com/ and http://www.zen-cart.com/ but I have heard that zen-cart isn't very user friendly. One other option that has been recommend is http://www.magentocommerce.com/ but I haven't used any of these.

As you may have guessed I'm a bit of a newbie to all this so would want something that's very user friendly. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

    Many thanks
    Steve

FastSpring.com is excellent, I personally use E-Junkie which sends payments directly to your PayPal. Also offers affiliate programs. Maybe I'd be able to provide more help if you shed some light about what exactly will you be selling. A service? Access to your content? Helps if you know if it's subscription based, or one time fee as well.:)

    Thanks blogginggenius,

Appreciate your recommendations. I'm in the process of setting up 3 WordPress sites (basic, intermediate & advanced) as demo examples for local business owners to try out for themselves. The advanced will be an e-commerce site as another option. So I am selling low cost WP sites for local business owners and an e-commerce site is an essential part of the mix. That's why I stated it must be user friendly and not too technical so they can pick it up and use it right away!

As the shopping cart will be used for bricks and mortar businesses E-Junkie and PayPal may not be the best option. I have just watched the FastSpring video and it does look a cool product with some great features! It says there is no set up fee but is this really a free program and if not can you tell me what the costs are please.

    Again thanks for your help.
