    Hi,
I am looking to make an e-commerce website for a product that is just coming out by a friend of mine and asked me if I can make a website for him. I am fine on making the website that shouldn't be a problem, however he wants to put paypal or shopping basket icons in which would link to his paypal account, but I am not sure how to do this . If anyone could help with this or could recommend a website that can help me with this that would be great.

Do you want to auto deliver the download info to the buyers once you paid by paypal?

    Hi,
Thanks for replying to my message. The product that my friend is selling is going to be a hand held product. So we will be shipping this product out to people so that they can use this product.

However when customer purchases this product I want them to click on the paypal logo or a link where they can pay directly from paypal but into my friends account.

Sounds to me like you're looking for a Shopping Cart Script with Paypal support.

There are thousands of both free and paid Shopping Cart scripts out there. Your best bet is just to search for the one that would best suit your needs, budget and security requirements. Sorry, I've not used those in a while so I can't make a recommendation.

I would check out the free ecommerce scripts avaliable for testing at,

    http://opensourcecms.com

I would also recommend that you take a look at magento.

However, if it's just one product that you are selling, these may be a bit overkill. You can just embed "Buy It Now" buttons through paypal, coincidently the paypal website has the best information about doing this. Here is the link,

(I think this is the link, )
