The idea to come up with an online site where your customers can place order of any quantity is an excellent idea. I would recommend you to do extensive research on this topic and then start your plans. According to me, hiring a professional for such a project will be a better idea. In the long run, you may also come up with a mobile cart software. This will make you get more customers in the long run.
+1 for Magento, but you'll need technical 'know-how' to get it operational. Magento also has their GO service where they host the e-commerce site on their servers (and you then just add your products through their interface).
Hi friend magento is very good idea, but our developers can provide you unique theme that is very good looking theme. This type of website theme attract the costumers when they visit your site. If you realy interested in magento website than please mail us at Thanks
People should only go with Magento if: 1. They are expert developers and willing to spend a bunch of time designing and customizing their store. OR 2. They have a huge budget and are willing to pay a team a ton of money to develop the store. For the average person that just wants to launch an ecommerce website it's best to use a fully-hosted solution like BigCommerce. You don't need to do any development or anything to get going. You can start a free trial, do some basic configuring with point & click options in admin and start listing products. With all-in-one hosted solutions like BC you can get a store launched in days, not months!
Yep I agree. I'm a fairly advanced user, and found Magento to be confusing and non-user friendly (and Zeuscart and Zencart just don't have the nicest templates or robust features really, at least out of the box). I could have probably got a shop up, but it would have taken weeks, rather than the less than 1 day it took me with Shopify. Fully-hosted solutions are the way to go IMO.
If you has basic knowledge about script, i suggest you to use Magento, prestashop, zencart, os commerse, open cart, etc. but, when you need more SEO powerfull (not only SEO friendly permalink), you need Web CMS + ecommerse plugin. so, i suggest you to use Wordpress + WP commerce plugin (or woocommerce plugin). I like this combination, coz, all search engine like content as they base to ranked a website. IMO, content(like as article, news, etc) very prowerfull to up your web rank. Joomla + Virtumart is like as too. But, if you has a lot money to buy ads, you never care about SEO or search engine rank.
