Hi all, I am thinking of creating some products and selling them online. The thing is that I am not that technical and cannot create the site by myself. So far the best place I've found to hire someone make the site for me is the elance.com My question is how much does a site like that normally cost? I am not talking about an online store like amazon but a website (squeeze page, sale's letter page, thank you page, download page etc) made for selling just one product. Thanks guys!
If you want to sell just one product in my opinion you don't need expanded website. Just a simple page connected with paypal. It might cost max few hundred bucks.
You can do that yourself if thats all you need. But something like that shouldnt cost more than 300 bux or so.
Why don't you use zen cart it open source? If you hire people to do it then the price should be around $100
you should look at joomla with virtuemart or use magento... both of these platforms are opensource and free... I would probably go with joomla and virtuemart as there are many good looking templates that work well with them and it is very easy to use... Good Luck
well there is a wordpress plugin to setup a download store which is pretty easy to handle. using it for buy-content.us and it looks pretty good so far
