Has anyone noticed a large decrease in number of orders this month? I trying to figure out if this is more of an economy thing or something im doing wrong. My traffic has stayed the same...just a lower conversion rate.

    Depends what you sell?

All I can say is that we have seen an increase in sales despite the credit crunch. News is that ecommerce are generally fairing well during the current economic climate, but I guess there will be exceptions to the rule. I can't imagine online car sales would do well.

    Hope this help

Springs coming, people tend to stay out where I am. So they don't go online very much. That's just my bit anyway I have no idea.. there are millions of factors for every single person.

Agreed. It really depends upon what you're selling and who you are targeting. Everything should be down in retail, but you will see worse results in certain fields.

I have 2 ecommerce sites. My friend has 2 as well. All 4 sites are down quite a bit since early January. Once the stock market starts a true recovery and people can breathe, you should be in better shape. Also, don't know where you are located, but in the U.S. this winter has dragged out. Once springtime gets here, people get a little happier and start spending again.

Some down, some up, it depends on your market and the niche.

I've seen a slump in sales lately, it's not just you.

My site has surprisingly stayed around the same mark in conversion and sales. Winter is about to hit here so it will be interesting to see what happens.
