I know about simple cart using which we can easily create mini e-store. check this site http://simplecartjs.com/ .and also another shopping cart code generator http://www.fatfreecart.com/code_gen.php both are free services.Enjoy But i want to know whether any of guys know about a free e-commerce ready template(Other than eCommercer Blogger Template designed by bloggz.net - this doesn't work ) or free working scripts for blogspot/blogger .There are many free open source shopping carts which can be used for WP. people who know about this please share your ideas. (Please only provide solutions for blogger and not wordpress)
There are two types of shopping carts. One that you install on your server and one that you can use as a service. PayPal could be used as a service, for instance. Since Blogger will not let you run any server-side scripting, your only alternative is to use a service. Shopping Cart SAAS lets you manage your products, orders, shipping rules, etc on their servers. On your blog, all you need to do is create the page and add the snippet of code that will display the pricing and order buttons. They have codes for php (not what you are looking for), Html, and Javascript.
I didn't find any free service.i found http://www.avactis.com/ but it has 3 php files so it wont work with blogger. Do you know any free service for blogger. or A ready template will do.I searched a lot but only found the above two. There is also another solution: wazala for blogger but its also paid.I cannot go for paid ones as i don't have much products to sell.its just my experiment .
Well you are going to have to pay for a service to handle the money. They just take a percentage of the total. There is just no way around that. The simplest method is to use PayPal. They have a utility where you can build a "Buy Now" button that you can insert into your product pages. This is in an Html format, so you can use it on Blogger. Since you do not have that many products, then this will not be too much of an issue to build a button for each product. Once you have built a couple, you will probably catch on and be able to just code them yourself. And no, I don't know of any free services to handle product management. Nor do I know about any themes.
dodger please check this http://simplexdesign.blogspot.com/2009/11/you-can-make-your-shop-online-in.html this one is free. but i don't know to get in form of a pages .I mean when the number of products increases it should automatically arrange it self Here is a live demohttp://simplexshop.blogspot.com/
Check it for what? I have been out of Blogger for a number of years and can't advise you on something I am no longer familiar with. I only know that your are very limited on what you can do in Blogger, such as server-side scripting, and have to rely on some third-part service to add any real functionality to your blog. Sorry if I can't help more. There is not much you can do.
Why don't you go with WordPress? Performing a specific additional task in blogger is quite difficult! And I've had very bad experience of blogger, I'm against it!
I understand dodger Blogger has a lot of limitations i will think of transferring my blog to wp in near future ,Thanks for your help
Yes Blogger has limitations. but now I'm not in a situation to move to WP. Well this will happen in near future.
