I'm about to build a new site, i've a successfull frontpage site but well google doesn't like it anymore so i tought i'll developp a new site. The new project will actually need to be a shop but i do think that few "webshops" really do well in Google so i was thinking of a blog with an integrated shop, like a WORDPRESS blog (or CMS) + the WP E-commerce plugin... anyone has experience with that. I know that shops can be SEO-optimized but well once items are listed the site the content doesn't update really often PLUS it is rather hard to have original content since all products are almost the same so... Hope to get some ideas or recomandations.
it depends on what kind of stuff you're selling... do you have a specific niche into which you are targetting? That will enable better advice more specific to your plight
