    Hi

    I have a few questions...

If you have a page that is dynamically created on the fly using xml for a particular keyword will google be able to index this page?

Does the use of https make any difference to a site if the https is being used for all of the pages?

    Many thanks for your help

Google and the other engines can index HTTPS URLs just like they can index HTTP (as well as a mix - they don't have to all bee one or the other on your site)... no difference as long as you have a clear, crawlable linking structure. If they live behind a login page, however, they will not get indexed regardless of whether they are HTTP or HTTPS.

To get dynamic pages like the one's you're describing to be indexed, you are going to either:

    1) create a sitemap.xml that contains all of your dynamic URLs that you want indexed and submit it to Google or
    2) have other pages (either on your site or another site) which are already indexed at Google to link to the URLs for those dynamically generated pages so that Google can discover them.

They don't have ESP. And they are not going to submit random searches on your site to find all of the dynamically URLs that might be driven by a search box and an XML file.
