I want to start a dynamic website just like http://www.surfurls.com/ http://www.humsurfer.com/ I have contacted the developer and he said website will be made in .net as opposed to some other software used by surfurl's.com. Infant he has done backend coding and working on template and other things .Can u help me how to improve such website where one can submit articles linking to their own website(concept is quiet similar to Digg.com) .I'am still to decide where to buy windows hosting and... best answers get 1 month back links from PR3 blog.
Pligg and Drigg are pretty good, do a Google search for those. Reddit also open sourced their code, so that might be interesting if you know Python.
