Hi I need the tips for optimizaiton of a dynamic website. I have a website in php i tried many things to promote it but it is not working. at the other end i have install the wordpress in another domains and do nothing but just edited the titles and keywords and submitted to the search engines and the are coming top in search engins (google) but my orginal site is not coming to any of that keyword not at 3rd page also.. can any body tell me how to optimize that site i have but the keywords and discriptions in the site but nothing is happeing . Please suggest me what to do .... Thanks
There's a Matt Cutts video somewhere on either his blog or the google webmaster blog, I think that the topic might have been canonicalization. Take a look on those sites, he was recently talking about dynamic sites, and how to be set up for proper SEO The main problem that happens with dynamic sites is often the following: with dynamic sites, the way the URL propagates often makes it look like you have excess pages, and duplicate content. for example, a url may sometimes appear to be: www.something.com/fruit/apples/red While the same content may also be at: www.something.com/red/fruit/apples To the search engines, this would potentially appear as 2 different sites with completely the same content - as well, if there were links to these two different URLs (that are really the same page) they could appear to be two completely different sites, therefore not taking full advantage of the link juice flowing through. Solution has to do with flattening the way the URLs show up. Anyways, look for the video, I sort of skipped past the solution because I'm running primarily static URLs Hope this helps!
do not change any home page bcz you can change you home page title or any thing so you loss 3page ranking do more submission for your targeted keyword and in wordpress blog put your website more link so your pages daily crawl and google get you website update so you can get easily good ranking If your change you home any single word so you can loss your ranking

thanks i will see the video but my question is that my site i cannot change the title as it is coming home if i change the title then the home word goes all wrong and the site breaks, then where should i put the title or how to optimize that way that when searching for keywords the site come in top currently it is only coming to its name not for any keywords on other hand my other site for the same keyword are coming or the press release or articles. can any one tell me why is that and how to make the site in top for those keywords other i will check this video too. thanks
my all urls are clean but only title is not in the page rest everything is ok can anybody tell me how to promote it.
