Dynamic video/FLV player

Can anyone recommend a good video player I can use?

I'd like to either be able to load it in through XML or just a javascript call (something like video.swf?file=blah.flv if that works..)

If I could also set the dimensions dynamically, that would be an added bonus but not necessary

 

You need to instal some software on your server (need to be root), so you need to have dedicated server or just VPS.

 

I have a VPS, but I see absolutely zero need for this?

 

If you want to conver .avi to .flv online you need to install some softwares on your server.

 

No disrespect, but where on earth did I mention anything about converting?

VLC!!!!!!!!!!!! EASILY THE BEST, PLAYS LIKE EVERY FILE, including flv, avi, mpg, mov, basically everything, even realmedia

so yeh get VLC
