    Let say I have

    {keyword} Ringtones
    Hottest keyword {keyword} ringtones
    {keyword} ringtones ge them here
    www.myurl.com

What happens if my keyword is longer (over 25 characters) will the title just be "ringtones". I know with adwords you can have a substitute keyword if the dyanmic keyword is too long. Can this be done with adcenter as well?

Unfortuneatly, if the keyword is too long, the ad won't display. It totally sucks compared to Adwords and YSM. I would have a backup 'static' ad just in case.

With ringtones, you probably have thousands of keywords, so I would initially split up my keywords into different ad groups by one's that will fit your dynamic ad and one's that won't.

On a positive note, the import feature in Adcenter is pretty cool, so with Excel you should be able to sort/import your lists pretty fast.

I also found out if you use the {param1} feature for custom destination url's, don't include 'http://'. You'd think they could handle it either way, but this is MS we're talking about.

Thanks for the tips dealasite. I truly appreciate it. Going off topic - this is how all of DP should be - helpful, courteous, and professional.

I'm new to PPC, so far I have only played with Adcenter and Adwords. Haven't signed up for YSM yet. Will do so shortly though. I like the level of granularity and control you get in adwords. But I also like the simplicity of the adcenter cp.

Yea, Adwords has the best control panel by far over the others. YSM is good, but very picky on trademarked terms, so that could be a problem with some ringtone keywords. Adcenter has a good intuitive layout, but is real slow for me. They are the most lenient when it comes to trademarked terms which comes in handy on a few campaigns.

I don't have a lot of experience in ringtones, but have lots of experience in PPC, so feel free to hit me up with any other questions.

I think it would be best for you to set up a excel spreadsheet and set your param2 and param3 for insertion into the Ad. That way you can, for example, set:

    Keyword**********************param2
    Short keyword*****************short keyword
Long Ass Keyword Example ******** Long Keyword

Then in your ad, replace {keyword} with {param2}, then your ad will always be dynamic, but will always display, because it won't show long keywords, but instead will show their shortened counterpart. I hope this makes sense to you.
