I am needed to ban an IP, how is it possible in case of dynamic ip adopted. I dont know about other regions, but Indian ISP providers have widely adopted the dynamic ip. Now my problem is if I need to ban a particular person to visit my site, I can't do it.Infact, I am not able to trace any ip properly. Google analytics too dont provide ip . Is it possible that once I ban a person's IP(dynamic) , then it will remain banned forever. ?what could be possible solution to it ? excuse me if I am wrong in stating "Banning an IP which is dynamic, is useless as the next times person logs in, his ip gets changed.? " I feel there is solution as google adsense does it perfectly.

You are correct. You cannot ban someone if there IP is dynamic by an IP ban. You could however install cookies on the site. And change his cookie to block him that way.

You can run one ip through whois and you will see full provider subnet which you can block

If you currently have a static IP then you have nothing to worry about unless for some reason your IP changes. When we set-up your Publishing Point we use your external IP address and the port you are using so we can set them as the source of your stream. As stated before if you have a static IP this will never change but if you are using a dynamic address that changes often you will need to find a way to get a constant address, the next paragraph will go through the set-up we use to get people a static address without the use of a static IP.

No static IP? No problem, the link provided below will lead you to a site that offers a free static addressing service.
