This may be more difficult than I can handle...to be honest, I'm not sure it is possible, which is why I thought I would ask. What I want is to create a form that will not only email me the content of the form, but also email other individuals based on the content of the form. The form is to recognize those people at work that have gone above and beyond expectations. The idea is to have a form people can fill out to let people know what the person has done. The form is quite simple. It asks for the name of the person being recognized, their email address, and their department. Then it asks basically what they did through a couple questions, then asks for the name, email address, and department of the person filling out the form. The hope is that when the person submits it, the contents of the form are sent to the the person overseeing the project, the person being recognized, the person being recognized's manager, the person filling out the form, and that person's manager. In order to do this, the form would have to take the contents of the form fields and use that to determine who to send to. The idea is for it to take the email addresses that are put into the fieldss and use those, then take the department field and send the email to the manager of the designated department. With all of that said. First, is this possible? Second, how complicated? I am assuming quite a bit of programming would be required which is probably over my head as I pretty much only know good ol' HTML. I'm hoping others at work will be able to help me but I want to be able to provide some guidance as well. Any thoughts? Thanks. Brian
Seems a bit complicated mate. I personally wouldnt go through with it im sure anyone who you asked to do this would be looking for a lot of cash, obviously because of the ammount of work to go into it. Im assuming this is perhaps like a referal or complaints system you want where the person can comment of what another employee has done .. all the more you could go back to the old slip paper in the box method
