Dynamic Copyright - How to Create?

    This is such a noob question but I can't figure it out. I've followed guide these three guides and it isn't working...

    I need something that can keep a copyright year up to date.

    Why not just:
    <?php echo "&copy; " . Date("Y") . " -- All rights reserved"; ?>

    The word copyright (not the symbol) carries more weight and "All Rights Reserved" is usually unnecessary.

    <?php echo "&copy; Copyright " . Date("Y") . " - Organisation/Name"; ?>
