Hi! I tried adwords before, and had dynamic ads. For example I had an add like: [keyword] watch store. Get your [keyword] watch online at the shop of Dirkjan! Then I had a list of like 5-6 keywords, for example Rolex, Swatch etc. When someone searched for Rolex, they saw my ad on the right or top with the word they searched for in it, in bold. That always worked very well. I can't find how that worked anymore. How should my ad look like to get this same effect working again? I need to know quickly so quick and useful replies definately get some rep. and kudos
Odd. I think they changed this system? I used to make something like Buy your {keyword} here. But Google refused that ad. It says I have to do {keyword:Rolex} here. So how do I change Rolex to Swatch, Breitling etc? How do I make it dynamic? Do I add keywords in my keyword list between {and} to show Google that these are the keywords to add there? I am sorry that this question is a bit confusing. Its just a while ago when I used to have these type of ads. Please help this poor man
You have to supply default text - if you don't and the user query was too long it wouldn't fit and your ad would be blank. Creat multiple ad groups keywords - i.e. rolex gets an ad group, swatch gets and ad group, etc.
Yeah but I want something like: The {keyword:Watches} Specialist This shop is specialised in watches from {keyword}! And then have keywords like swatch, breitling, rolex... etc...? Good idea?
Sure, just make sure you're using exact match for those dynamicly inserted keywords. If you don't and the query is too long you'll end up with an ad title that says: The Watches Also, you'll need to specificy a default keyword in the body of your ad.
