Dvi and AVI Input/Output Question?

    Hi,

    I have a graphics card with a DVI and AVI slot on,

    Currently my screen is connected via DVI so the AVI slot is unused,

    If i connect an Input device to the AVI slot on the graphics card could i input video and stream it?

    OR would i need some sort of capture card for this,
