DVD player question

I have a toshiba dvd player which has a USB slot in it. I have also got a USB obviously, it worked fine, I used to put movies onto it and it would run fine in my DVD player, but one day I wanted to watch another movie so I removed the movie from my USB but it said it was still full, so I formatted it.

Ever since I formatted it, it's says "unsupported usb device". I know it's something to do with the way i formatted it.

I'm using a Mac you see, so it's got many options in the disk utility, plus I'm not sure wether to verify the usb after I've formatted it or before.

This happened to my old USB device but I managed to find a way to get it working but I can't remember how to do it.

Can someone help me pleaseeeee :(

can you say what USB you are using and model number.. generally the solution to this would be given in respectinve companies website or if your company don't have such features, you can try with HP usb support softwares for recovering your USB.

Most hardware players support FAT32, try that.

Try changing it into FAT 30 or NTFS at the time you format then it should work.
Right now also it should be in one of the formats. :)
