Okay, I'd like to burn some of my DVDs onto my harddrive... how would I do this? What's the best "Free" program that lets you do this?

There are many ways, and programs to do this. Dvd shrink will save all the files onto your computer, so that you can reburn later, but not watch, well you could watch them, but you need to get a special player. If you just want to rip it, look up "dvd ripper" on google..

^ I burn dvds all the time ( only for backups hahaha)..Dvd shrink works great, there are many programs out that can do this easily, because its not really illegal to make a copy of a dvd you own..Not that anybody uses it for that purpose..I have a blockbuster pass, and a dvd shrink, do the math aha

just copy the dvd in your harddisk, on your dvd drive, just right click and go to explore, from there select all, and copy where you like.
why you need a software to do this::rolleyes:
