At the same time the two have something in common which stood in the focus of my analogy: One was US saving the Germans from themselves (=nazi regime), and the other is US saving the Iraqis from themselves (Saddam Hussein) It took the Germans 60 years to thank the US with tears for their help. I doubt if the Arabs are capable of such an honest thing that is such an anti-thesis to what drives them, namely, the narrative.
