Dupulicate Content Question

Discussion in 'Google' started by GameOver, Mar 15, 2008.

I had a page of content on one of my sites that I have removed (a few hours ago). If I place it on another website will google class it as copied content even though it is no longer on the other site? Or should I wait until it is removed from google search results?

    Thanks

    Interesting question,
I redirect all old URLs to new URLs. Most new URLs already got indexed, but Googlebot still looks for old pages. That means my site has lot of duplicate contents.

Google will have the cache of the page you have just deleted. Wait until the cache disappears from the memory of the bot and then include it in the other site.

wait some days that google can update properly and then add it your content to other page.

You should probably wait until your web page is removed from google's cache before you
add the content to your other site.

You can do it. But be sure to delete the old ones or else you'll be banned by google..

Theres no need to wait. Just do a redirect in your htaccess file telling google the page has been moved permanently.
