I had a page of content on one of my sites that I have removed (a few hours ago). If I place it on another website will google class it as copied content even though it is no longer on the other site? Or should I wait until it is removed from google search results? Thanks
Interesting question, I redirect all old URLs to new URLs. Most new URLs already got indexed, but Googlebot still looks for old pages. That means my site has lot of duplicate contents.
Google will have the cache of the page you have just deleted. Wait until the cache disappears from the memory of the bot and then include it in the other site.
the old site was lowestuniquebidscript.com/petbetter.com and the new site i want it on is petbetter.com. See it in the search results here: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=petbetter.com&btnG=Google+Search So if I wait until that result disappears will everything be ok or is the cache different? Thanks
You should probably wait until your web page is removed from google's cache before you add the content to your other site.
How do i tell when the cache is deleted? Here is a link: http://209.85.175.104/search?q=cach...tbetter.com/+petbetter.com&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=3 Do I just wait until that page stops appearing? Thanks
Theres no need to wait. Just do a redirect in your htaccess file telling google the page has been moved permanently.
