    Hi everybody,
Through copyscape plagiarism we can detect the sites which are having similar content
Is there any way to check who is the original source(site) and who has stolen the content.

1 more method to know if your content is copied or not...Follow these below steps:
    copy your text line
and paste inside goole search ""
    like: "your text"

    and hit enter

if your content is 80% duplicate then i think you should change it make some modification to your text that is found to be duplicated because 80% is not good this is was i think you may consult to someone else too to get sure.

Yes i know 80% is bad infact very bad, that's why i have come up with this question, that how to check that who is the original content holder.
because my client site is 6+ yrs old and the site which is having similar content is just 2 yrs old.

    Hi,

In researching the duplicate content i found one seo tool that may be helpful for you. The link is duplicatecontent (dot) net. In this tool you can check both the websites link which shows the similarity, copied percentage and many more.

    Thanks,

Hmm.. I don't know if it really matters that there is duplicate content from your own site. I think Google would expect this to a certain extent. Has anybody heard of someone having duplicate content issues and then fixing these for an improvement?
