hi guys quick one... whats the best way to make sure that the article i am posting are not duplicate ? regards
copy and past few lines from the article to google search box with quotes "" if you see exact resutls then it`s a copy!
You need to check the article using a plagerism checker, just use this link to get sites that will check your article http://www.google.co.uk/#sclient=ps...gc.r_pw.&fp=2952ab90d3a0ee24&biw=1366&bih=587
scrape test consists of copy and pasting one sentence into google and seeing if other websites rank higher than yours or if other sites rank at all. if it is completely scraped the content selected will be in all bold. if the content is spun then google results will show random bolded words or i've also seen like 7 results of "google books". hope this helps
Copy some lines of your content and paste it to Google..if its duplicate content, the site will appear first on Google from where your content is copied. Try to change words of your content and again check in Google.
very simple....copy a few paragraphs from the article and paste n search in Google. You will immediately see if it is already existing or not
I utilize copyscape for this purpose (not promoting it), using it for several months now and it never failed to give me accurate results.
hi i am aware of copyscape and everyone tells me its good .. but due to the nature of my project, I need to find a free one. any idea guys ?
I think plagiarism below 30% is fine, getting more and more content in web. It is hardly to get 0% duplicate.
This is correct - and it also highlights the difference between what search engines regard as 'unique' and what a human regards as 'plagiarism'. There is a real and significant difference.
Yes, and on the side note, I did read in a few SEO books that it is a myth that search engines penalize sites for duplicate content. They just don't show large amounts of the same content, thus the show omitted results button is there.
Whether you call it a penalty, of use the expression 'they refuse to index dupes' or even 'they dump my page down to 500 in the index' make no *&*&* difference. The end result is the same. No traffic. You can call it a 'banana hammock in lurex' rather than a 'penalty' if you really want to, but the end result is *exactly the same* - Google don't serve your page up to browsers. This one was put to bed AGES ago - I'm surprised there is ANYBODY out there that isn't aware of this fact.
Copy different parts of the article and paste in the Google Search box. The highlighted results will show the duplicate content.
