If a few sites have the same page, e.g. AWS sites, any idea how Google rank them? PR, crawl date?

my experience is you ahve to work at them to avoid being labeled "dupe"

i was goign strong and jsut got wacked with dupes on 1 domain ... traffic is the same form google, but my coop got blow to hell.

best advice i can give? keep the info changing ... i'm experimenting with adding rss feeds to the site to see if that helps me for a few weeks.

losing coop weight is a bummer.

but PR is the same as any site, G crawls them fast too

You need to make sure that your page design unique with at least some non-duplicated content.

I'm in something like this and i'm curious if it can do any harm to my site.

Basicaly, there are 2 site (mine and another) wich compete in the same domain and both of us obtain the rights to put on our sites some articles of a good writer.

So...some articles can be found on both sites.

    Can be this harmful ?

    Sorry for my bad english.

It depends on the percentage of dup content.

I used a tool to compare the two sites and it tells me that 16% of the content exist on both sites.

Is this bad or it's ok ?
