Duplicated content in shop website

I hope you are doing well.

So i have some products that has many models but they are functioning the same except the strength of the product.
Lets assume i have written 1 unique content page - but that page will be used in 4 different products - is that really bad?

Should i rewrite that description in 4 different products although they are almost the same?

What should be better?

Note: keeping them in the same page is not an option.

If possible try to maintain atleast 60-80% uniqueness in those similar page content.

No they will not punish if you maintain a good percentage of uniqueness.

For a safer and credible campaign you can create a new content. Duplicate one or spun version is considered black hat campaign and would penalize your campaign.

 

Your have to create unique content for all product options. You should not use spun articles as it is easily identified by Google.
When writing the same description again, you should write from scratch, without using old article as a base.
It is time consuming and boring. But it will save you.

They best way to make unique content in your case is to descripe different usage of different goods. Like a little weak scissor can cut paper, strong industrial scissor can cut metal bars.

 

The thing is no one really write unique description for each page and i don't see that they get punished.

That is why i'm asking.

 

I've been to a seo conference where guys from google search dep answered questions. They have said that don't care much about not uniq content on shop sites but they would consider boosting those with comments, reviews of product and advised to write in which field of work or how to use the product because they think this type of content on a shop is better for user experience and so valueble more than plain copypasted description of product.

 

Well, I would prefer to writing it from scratch, don't just rewrite it.. The products can't be so similar, so at least some changes are required...!
