Duplicated content and PageRank

Right now you can access my site both at mysite.com and mysite.com/blog

both of the locations have a index.php that will request the header and the content.

my question is, will google consider this a duplicated content because you have two adresses displaying the same content?

will this affect my PR or since we are talking about a folder within the main domain it should be ok?

Directory structure won't make that much of a difference. If you have 2 of the same page on the same site ..it's seen as a DUPE..

the page in reality is only one, but there are two places (the root directory and the /blog) that will load this page, that is why i am in doubt

I think I have some answer.

There is bound to have some effect on your PR, because basically your PR depends on incoming and outgoing links. If some of your peers added your site as http://www.site.com while others added as http://www.site.com/blog, then there is going to be a split of incoming links.

So, you might not be expecting as good PR as you should have.

One of the way is to keep to either one of them. To do so, you can use .htaccess to control the site.
