Duplicate penalty question....

    I have 2 domain names.... abc.com and abcd.com

    Somehow during this update one of the sites is showing 66 pages indexed...(mainly supplemental results with cache dates from last January/early Feb)...as far as I knew, only the home page was indexed.

    Most of the pages are identical...would the easiest thing be to just eliminate the site except for the home page?

    This site has zero value to me/my business.

    I doubt this will cure all my current ills...but it might help a little.

    You could do a 301 redirect from one to the other and consolidate PR.

    Yeah fix this via htaccess! 301 is the only chance you got! And you better hurry...sometimes google kicks one domain because for the SE it looks like duplicate content!

    Agreed - it sounds like you are overdue for 301s.
