    Hi experts,
    SEMrush
I have one query about H2 tags, On my web page i declare category name as H2 tag in sidebar category list and also Same category name also declare with H2 in category listing. So on web page showing two same word (category name) in H2 tag. It's good for web page or any impact on SEO.

The opinion I have probably contradicts the general consensus, but I believe none of that impacts SEO anymore. If it did, any website that had all the right HTML structure and elements would be on the first page. The truth is there are thousands of websites that have it all together yet they are nowhere to be found. What really matters is content, keywords, user-friendliness / experience (especially mobile) and some would say backlinks (which is becoming a non-factor in my opinion).

Of course it's good to have all your H tags in the right places, but don't expect it to have a significant (if any) impact on your SE rankings.

Duplicated h2 tag within the content will not have any impace on SEO but for the visitors it will have because they will see the below content as redundant.

Mueller recently stated that the h1 tag will not make or break your rankings, so the h2 would have even less impact.

I also don't think the effect will be too great. However, I personally don't think category listings in the sidebar should have an H2 at all. It gives them way too much weight. An H3, probably even an H4 would be more appropriate IMO.

To be honest, H2 on the same page can have positive impact, but make sure to include longtail keywords

It should not affect SEO. But I can not recommend using H1-H6 in the sidebar. A lot of websites do that. I found many websites use H1 in their header. Please, try to use this tags in the article only. Such approach allows Googlebot to understand your page better. In this case you can have better ranking.
