    Hi,

I have a question about google panda, we have a blog with original and fresh content on main page (www.abc.com), but on subpages (www.abc.com/123/), it has duplicate contents.

Would panda penalize root domain too?

    Thanks

Firstly, would like to clarify your "duplicate content". Do you mean you have the same content in both your main and subpages? If so, yes, Google will penalize that. If you refer to u are using some PLR from somewhere (which is totally different from duplicate content) in your sub pages, than the question will be would your subpages be indexed?

    Hope this help.

    Cheers,

If that's the case, the short answer is no. Google won't penalize that. However, your page might not be indexed in the main page but the supp page of google, which again is not a penalty.

Just like press release or article that allowed for syndication / republished, once there are too many sites republished, only a number of the top sites will be shown on google for the specific page.

    Cheers,

Google might not penalize your site if the content on your main page is different from the sub pages. Although to be on the safe side i suggest you just get a unique content for yourself and site alone.

For cases you can't avoid getting those contents within your pages, study how to use Canonical tag..
