Description of my problem I have two websites which both working on the same CMS. Both website have a lot of unique information and I want to import all information of website A in website B and redirect website A with 301 redirect to website B. Will Google see this as duplicate content or not? Thanks for reading my problem and eventually answer my question.
Hello, Maybe you can do a test try to do it with two pages of your content. For example take one page, copy the content from A to B, then use Google Webmaster Tool to remove the url of A of Google index, then get some link to B. Try one or a couple of pages, trying and trying you will see... I know it take time to see results, but this is the Internet world, not all is 2 clicks My 2 cents, Jakomo
For more then thousands pages it is a lot of work I think with a simple redirect it is the same too? what do you or others think?
if you want to redirect pages then why do you want to post all content on redirecting pages. that should be only on target pages as i think robots and search engines will also focus on target pages and will not consider redirecting pages.
