Duplicate Content

    Just a question on duplicate content - If I copy paste my own, unique written content to article submissions word from word, Is there anyway I can be penalized for duplicate content on my main site? Or do the crawlers/spiders etc register that the content on my own site was written first.

    They can be confused if you post it wholesale, which is why I recommend having a link back to the original article on the syndicated versions if you do publish them to article submission sites. And make sure they don't slap rel="nofollow" on your link either.

    try to make your site unique. if you want to submit articles don't submit anything that has been post on your site.

    I think that main web site is indexed first so the owner has nothing to worry about

    It6 can't be. Sometimes good main websited do to do any SEO and their SEO is orgating and at the same time web site with stolen web design wins. :(
