I have a question for all the experts out there. Say you have a article, for example: 10 tips to grow apples Would search engines still consider it duplicate content if you change the order of the tips, by mixing them up? Instead of listing the tips as A, B, C, D, E; change the order to something like E, A, D, C, B. The paragraphs would still remain the same, but would search engines be able to tell the difference? Thanks,
Why don't you try to use copyscape and see if it passes that. That way you'll know the results before taking the trouble of posting the content.
Definitely duplicate content. Google has patents on detecting even partial duplicate content. Even if you change a couple words in every sentence on the page, they can tell the page is XX.X% duplicate. You will need to do a lot more than change the order of the tips or do a global find and replace on a few words w/ their synonyms. And while copyscape is "decent", it is NOT Google's duplicate content checker and is by no means an authority on what Google will/will not see as duplicates.
Yeah, unfortunately Google has a good duplicate content checker. I think you have to get more than a 65% original content score to just pass duplicate content mark. Well, it used to be 65%, might be higher now.
