For you pro's out there. :D

    /sample.php includes /html/sample.htm

Would that be duplicate content - the sample.htm file? If so, how should one approach this? Tippie toes?

Better to go with any one extension... better to be with sample.html and delete all other versions of the page or 301 redirect them to this.

The sample.php includes the sample.htm because it is the primary file that people will go to that pulls a little info from sample.htm (which isn't really a full page but just text I believe).

Kind of on the similar note, this question would be for scripts that use file storage rather than a database to store info. My first thought would be that having one page included in another page might seem like duplicate content.

Looking at it from a SE crawler point of view, would it be duplicate since the primary file has the same content in the other? And so I keep pondering to myself..
