Duplicate content question

ok, so I know a good way to obtain back links is article submission. I am a fairly decent writer so thats great... but here's the thing... if I write the articles to give myself new content on my site... but then distribute the article to all the ezine sites for back links... won't my content end up not looking original because it will be all over the net and people could even use it on there sites?

 

Yeah, you need to at least tweak the articles that you want to submit to directories. It's best if you just submit completely original articles.

 

It all depends. It can hurt and help you.

 

So are you saying write seperate stuff for my website and article submission? Geeze thats alot of writting!

 

There's a software that helps you rewrite your article 500 times in a single click, you might want to google it. "Article Rewrite" etc..

 

Keep the best articles for your own website.

 

This is the reason why i do not submit to article directories.

yeah , article submission helps for backlinks but if you have the same article on your website then it might harm your rankings
i suggest you one way..
first write article post on your website then let your website get crawled after post the same article on article directories
so wat bots will see that this article is posted on your website first and then on article directories.. so that will harm article directory and not your website

However every time i write an article, i think, why post on an article site when the content could be indexed for my site

 

of topic a bit... but how do I know when my site had been crawled? You said post it to directories after having on my site a while and I've been crawled... but how would I know I've been seen?
