Duplicate content question. Help

    Hi, I am thinking of moving all of the content from my UFO website over to a blogger blog that I already have, which is also ufo related. My question is, will I get penalised for duplicate content by Google? Or will they be able to see my website has been shut down and can now find all the content on my blog?

    Any help appreciated. Cheers.

    As long as you can do a 301 re-direct to your new site, you will be fine.

    IMHO the best solution is to close your website,wait till it disappear in search results and then place all stuff to your blog.
