Am a pretty much newbie.. I was just experimenting optimizing wordpress to solve duplicate content problem.. i've got few simple questions. Q: iam using noindex for categories and archives.. am doing right? Y or N Q: certainly iam indexing homepage of the blog. Now if there are 5 posts on the homepage. Google will penalize me for those 5 posts for duplicate content right? if yes, then how to avoid this? tell me a solution without using "Excerpts".. i want my visitors to see full posts on homepage. (this is the real challenge) Q: iam submitting sitemap which includes Include homepage Include posts Include static pages am i doing right? Y or N Q: Whats the significance of sitemap to solve duplicate content problem. For example if i submit a sitemap including category urls as well, will google index them as well? and penalize for duplicate content? All replies are appreciated.. Thanks a million in advance
