Hi There if I have a website with a number of sub domains targetting specific countries but the products I sell are the same, so the content is generally the same- does Google penalise this even though I am trying to provide a specific service to each country?
Producing unique content on any pages that are similar is a major challenge, I worked round this on a few projects but it's always been tricky and challenging. Good luck
The products can be the same but the content should not be exactly the same but it can be in the same niche. I hope you understand. John
Content is same then you have to do spin your content and if you are use link in your content with keyword then you also change the keywords one by one. so you will also get the idea for content that how can i spin my content?...
Never ever ever spin contentIf you do not have the ability to write unique content about your own venture, life will be a struggle
you should update your contents of the website regular bases. in everypage create some diffrence like using diff keywords, lines, txt etc. Bring some little changes in your site it will surely help you and your site will not be treated as spam..
Well, yes unfortunately you've got yourself in a sticky mess. Google will see this as Duplicate content. You can either opt for translation where the same page content gets translated specific to country or you will have to look at re-writing each of the other sub domains to keep the content unique. Unique and quality content is the current big thing in the SEO industry and especially with Panda's launch you are looking at a penalty unless you do something about the duplicate content asap. Good luck & hope I was helpful!
Duplicate content site called mirror site. which Google don't like your site could be black listed in Google so avoid duplicate content on your site.
Yes, it is often considered duplicate content. Even the exact same page only with a slightly different URL (one with and one without the "www" prefix) can be considered duplicate content.
It helps you create as much content as you wish without confusing the search engines. With sub domains if you use them you could be seen as having duplicate content issues. The search engine will not realize that the new content is actually part of your site and it may rank the content as duplicate if it decides to index the page as a new site, and then ranks it as a page.
Its a very tricky situation you have ... i think you can get by if you localize your material properly ... there is a video by Matt Cutts on Google webmaster Channel on youtube that deals with this very issue ... www.youtube.com/user/GoogleWebmasterHelp#p/u/12/WOB5biRQXVA hope it helps understand the issue better.
