recently i saw someone copied some of my content,

copyscape shows around 5-10% content copied

few days ago i did edit that content little bit(i was just making some minor changes to it)

so will my content still be considered unique?

    +reps for answers!

Put the author HTML TAG on your content. This may help. You can try to contact the web master but it would most likely be a waste of time.

In my opinion, after the update you content will not considered as duplicate.

hmm,,, After updation your content became unique so don't be worry. Always makes habit to put information below of content that you have written and who are you. It makes sound that you are original and Search engine find you easily. If anyone stole your content search engine give them punishment.

There have no problem for you, if you be the original author of the articles. Google will find out you and give reword. Google panda is for filtering those people who steal resources from other website. So, do not worry. :)

5 - 10 percent is not that bad, really, it probably was not copied from your website since the percentage is so low. As long as your website is the original author and you posted the content to the website before anyone else did, you will be okay, even if someone copied 100 percent of your content.

I hear some people mentioning google panda will punish those that copied from your blog. Hmmm, how sad you sure about that? the latest panda on 13 october was not favourable to some of my friends because the got hit by google while those that still their contents got the first page. But come to think of it. 5-10% is low to mark as copied.

Yeah, don't stress about it. If google has it indexed on your site then it's going to penalise the other site before it penalises you.

Well, 5-10% duplicate content is not very big deal... but it feels bad when your 100% unique content turns into 85% unique.

Since you have changed your content so it not duplicate anymore.

You have nothing to worry about if you are the original author of the content or information. Google would have noticed the content on your site earlier than on the other sites so it would be probably the other sites that would suffer.
