I had a wordpress.org blog installed in one my sites...the server where the site was hosted wasnt supporting mode-rewrite, thus the dynamic urls...I then switched to new server Now when I try to change permalink structure in wordpress...it changes the url of all indexed pages...how can i avoid it? because if it happens all pages will be assumed new with copied content kindly help
You should pop over to the Wordpress.org and visit the forums where somebody should be able to give you specific info on whether this is possible. From my point of view, I am not so certain you can avoid this issue now. If you manage to resolve the problem I would be pleased to hear how you did it.
