One website that I manage is just going through a re-design / re-launch. The new site has a document library with PDF articles and course outlines in the library. However, some of these docs (not all) are also sprinkled around the site in HTML. The HTML versions are strictly for user convenience, as the customer thinks it is a pain to open the Adobe reader to look at a document on a website, however, it poses a duplicate content risk. Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation? Advice? I think I could convince them to take the HTML version down, but is there another way? Thanks in advance.
