I had a site that I decided to abandon recently because it wasn't indexed in google. I put th url in and it didn't come up with anything, so I assumed that it wans't indexed. Anyway I decided to delete one of the pages of content from the site and put it onto its own domain. The new domain was ranked quite quickly and put on quite a high page for the keyword, but now its dissapeared and I can't find it anywhere. I checked to see if my other site had been indexed and it has for some reason, even though I had deleted it and it wan't indexed on the day it was deleted. I am assuming that google has made my new domain disappear because of the duplicate content thing. Is there any way that I can get it to be deleted from googles cache? Or will I have to rewrite it all over again? I'm hoping I don't have to because its a reallly, really long page. But if I do rewrite it, will it be put back in the same place? Or will it be marked as a bad domain?
if you deleted the page already, it will be removed from cache over time. for your new domain, just build some backlinks and it will be reindexed
I do not think google is going to deindex you for your duplicate content issues. There are lots of sites with duplicate content. THe only thing that could happen is lower rankings in google.
