Duplicate Articles -- Can I get away with it?

I have written around 20 unique, quality articles on Ezinearticles.com. Im so sick of writing articles.

I now want to submit articles on GoArticles.com, and other sites.....

However, it takes so much time to write articles, etc.......

Do you Google will penalize my articles if I post these 10 on other sites?

Or, do you think these 20 articles can become 200 easy backlinks?

I heard that Google will only count original indexed articles.....

Does anyone have any experience with this, and backlinks showing up for duplicate articles?

    Thanks!!!!!!

Google will see that it is duplicate content and so whilst you will still get backlinks they will be pretty much worthless as the copied content will not gain a decent PR

i think you would be better off putting you articles into a blog...but it is true Google hates duplicate content.

Yeah, I guess I'll just take the time to write 200 articles

But it can take months :-\

It would be nice to put these 20 articles on 10 sites... and then bam... 200 backlinks.... link juice....!!!

Google will only give you so much credit for 1 article if you submit the same article to many
sites at some point the article gets devalued for being duplicate content but I wouldn't call
it a penalty because google encourages people to submit articles to article directories.

i think you're going to have to keep up the hard work and make sure the content on your site is unique from the ezine articles. there's been a post yesterday where the guy had his SERP in Google replaced with the ezine article. since ezine is a bigger site, apparently it got priority listing and bumped the original site down somewhere in limbo.

It wouldn't hurt to submit to more than one article directory. Google may not give you full credit for those links, but some other search engines will.

Some authors tweak their article to try to make it seem unique on each article directory they submit to. I'm not sure if it is worth the effort though. It may be just as easy to write a whole new article.
