Dumped from top 10 - Any advice?

We have been in the top 3 results for keyword divorce in the UK for over 5 years, usually No.1 in both Yahoo and MSN. I changed the content tag slightly the other day to try and get a more commercial edge. However since doing this, we have been dumped. I have reinstated the old tag. Will we go back to our previous position when next indexed, or are we now buggered?
    the url is www.divorce-online.co.uk

Luckily Yahoo and MSn only account for about 12% of our traffic with Google providing 48% and the rest coming from no referer.

It has been said that Google will index the first x kilobytes of your page. It that page is overloaded with poor use of styles and formatting and javascript then it's lost opportunity. Think "empty calories" when what Googlebot wants is nutrition...
