    k I am trying to add links to one of my pages. I edited and uploaded the new page. the old page still shows up?
    i refresehed and closed/open new browser

    Do i need to change the permissions or what??
    if so what should they be set at for execute, write
    user group world

    I would verify that your file has uploaded. then clear your browser cache make sure your browser is not forced to read from cache.

    Try this : When you are in that page, force the browser to re-read the page again. bypoassing cache in your PC or in the local NAT router (if any).

    IE : Shift + refresh button
    FF : Ctrl + refresh button

    I think these were the ones. I keep confusing them in between :)
